The third leg of Fr. Gerald’s Foundation plan was economic assistance. Starting 2021, the foundation kick started the economic assistance program. The N5M revolving finance program is to help Avutu indigenes who need funds for their businesses. The goal is to recycle the funds among the local businesses. The program is sustainable to the extent people pay back what they receive. The committee has set up strict accountability measures to make sure recipients pay back fund on a bi-weekly schedule.
